Our Studio

After a long stretch of 17 years renting, we purchased our first business premises in 2019. We initially thought we would engage an Architect to tackle the project but after careful consideration decided to embark on the design ourselves. The extension, refurbishment, interior fitout, furniture and landscaping was all designed by myself. We assembled a great team of specialist trades all managed by our main contractor.

The existing building is a Victorian Red brick Schoolhouse constructed in the 1800’s. We extended out on the Western side into a small parcal of land which was formally the school play yard. We are not keen on pastiche style architecture and wanted to tell the story of old meets new. A contemporary burnt larch box meets the typically ornate Victorian school.
